Join us for a lunch discussion on how leaders make decisions in an increasingly data-driven world and how emerging technologies help shape those choices.

Speakers Dr. Mohamed Aburawi, Founder and CEO, Atarona Ventures, and Paul Christian, Economist – Development Impact Department, World Bank, will explore how data, impact evaluation, and machine learning are reshaping decision-making in finance, development, and public policy. We will further examine how organizations balance financial returns with social impact, the challenges of turning evidence into action, how future leaders can engage critically with data and technology, and the risks and opportunities of utilizing AI in decision making.

This event is part of the CPL student-generated event series and will be moderated by Ashmita Guatam, MC/MPA candidate ’26.

Open to HUID holders and registration is required. Lunch will be available beginning at 11:45am
