Listening: The Secret Key to Successful Communications

This workshop will introduce the participants to the fundamentals of active listening, and give them an opportunity to practice, observe and give feedback to their peers.  The session will include a discussion of (a) why listening is important (e.g., to build a relationship in addition to transmitting the message), and (b) how one can be an effective listener (e.g., how to be “present" with the other person through both verbal and body language).
