Please join the Belfer Center to celebrate books by two of this era’s leading scholar-practitioners: Kishore Mahbubani’s Living the Asian Century: An Undiplomatic Memoir and Joseph Nye’s A Life in the American Century. In these volumes, Mahbubani and Nye share their personal journeys, which intersect with the geopolitical transformations of recent decades. Both played key roles in shaping the foreign policies of their respective countries, and their memoirs illuminate much of the 20th century trajectory of Singapore, the United States, and the world. Belfer Center Director Meghan O’Sullivan will moderate a conversation with Mahbubani and Nye on their own lives, the evolution of the international order, and what the 21st century might hold.
This event will be in-person and is restricted to Harvard ID holders. If your RSVP has been confirmed, you will receive confirmation and event details prior to the session.
