Nuclear Proliferation and American Security: The Inaugural Carnesale Convenings

As the last remaining treaty limiting U.S. and Russian nuclear weapons expires, join us for a discussion of the world's frayed nuclear nonproliferation regime, why it matters for U.S. national security, and how we can address nuclear dangers in a dangerous age. The conversation will draw on a bipartisan task force conducted last year by the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

This Forum will inaugurate the Carnesale Convenings, a new Belfer Center series in honor of former Kennedy School Dean, Harvard Provost, and UCLA Chancellor Albert Carnesale, whose scholarship has made central contributions to nuclear policy and other fields.
