What is Rest & Renew? 

An eight week course in mindfulness practice to inspire rest and renewal and increase focus, productivity and joy. Through use of breathing exercises, deep relaxation and sound healing, and brief stress education, we will be practicing mindfulness technology to support eight specific life domains:

Session 1 (9/29): Listen: Warning signs and burn-out prevention Session 2 (10/6): Be Present: Concentration and productivity Session 3 (10/13): Managing Acute Stress Session 4 (10/20): Rest Deeper: Sleep hygiene and relaxation*Session 5 (11/2)*: Too much, Not Enough: Emotional eating, exercise and time management Session 6 (tbd): Fight, Flight or Laugh: The use of laughter and humor for stress relief Session 7 (tbd): Am I alone?: Isolation and loneliness, relationships and community Session 8 (tbd): Saying No to say Yes: Healthy Boundaries and when and how to ask for help  ZOOM LINK: 666224*Zoom sessions are NOT recorded for participant confidentiality and to create a safe learning space. About the coach:Biliana Angelova, M.A, M.Ed, RYT 200, is a yoga and meditation instructor who offers practical programs for wellness and stress relief. She is also a psychotherapist in private practice and has been a contributor to the cutting-edge mindfulness research of the Benson-Henry Mind Body Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital and at the Center for Anxiety Studies at Boston University. She approaches the idea of healing as a self-empowerment and uses a client-centered approach to create lasting change for her students through combining movement therapy, breathwork, meditation and traditional psychotherapy tools.​
