​​​​In the dynamic landscape of modern leadership, the concept of reverse mentoring has resurfaced as a compelling strategy for fostering inclusive and adaptable organizational cultures. This seminar, rooted in the practice first popularized by Jack Welch in the 1990s, delves into the resurgence of reverse mentoring in today's VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Eminere CEO Patrice Gordon will explore how organizations can leverage this approach to develop more equitable workplaces, addressing the visible "difference" in society and the workplace.

Patrice Gordon's illustrious career, spanning finance and commercial strategy in the airline and logistics sectors, is underpinned by a commitment to leadership that nurtures and supports. With over a decade focusing on creating environments where individuals can thrive, Patrice combines her expertise in Executive Coaching and Emotional Intelligence to guide C-suite leaders. With a pivotal point being asked to Reverse the CEO of  Virgin Atlantic. This transformative experience led her into deep research to understand how this transformative tool could be used more effectively. Her book “Reverse Mentoring: Removing Barriers and Building Belonging in the Workplace” was published in 2022 to critical acclaim.

As CEO of Eminere and a Member of Harvard Kennedy School’s Women’s Leadership Board, her dedication to advancing equity, particularly for women, positions her as an authoritative voice in Reverse Mentoring. Patrice's approach is shaped by her global perspective, having roots in Jamaica and operating across continents, and her role as an author and reverse mentoring specialist.
