A review of the major findings from the 2019 edition of our The State of the Nation's Housing report.
Full Description
Although household growth is returning to a more normal pace, housing production has not, according to our latest State of the Nation’s Housing report. In this brown bag lunch, Daniel McCue, a senior research associate at the Center who oversaw the report’s production, will discuss the key findings, including how the shortfall in new housing is putting pressure on house prices and rents and eroding affordability for modest-income households in many markets. This event is part of our Housing Research Seminar Series, which are held on Fridays at lunchtime, during the academic year.
