Study Group with Brock Lowrance: Spreading the News
Public confidence in the media has hit record lows, the perception of media bias dominates both sides of the political aisle and “Fake News” is even in the dictionary now. Traditional media has been disrupted, and digital platforms have transformed how we consume information and form opinions. We’ll discuss how we got here, the changing media ecosystem, how it impacts politics and if the democratization of information is strengthening or undermining institutions.
