Study Group with Chris Whipple: All the President's Men & Women ft. Jack Watson

This session will explore the evolution of the modern White House chief of staff from Richard Nixon's H.R. Haldeman to Donald Trump's Susie Wiles. President Jimmy Carter at first rejected the idea of having an empowered chief; it wasn’t until his last year in office that he appointed Jack Watson to the position. We’ll explore the reasons for Carter’s change of course.

IN-PERSON GUEST: Jack Watson, White House Chief of Staff for President Jimmy Carter
