Study Group with Gov. Eric Holcomb: Just Do It and Find Your Role in Our Revival

The only prerequisite for leadership is to want to go somewhere in the company of others. The destination and the way of getting there are what make leadership so contentious. How then should today’s “leaders” conduct themselves, to live up to the strengths of e pluribus unum and better the odds of more people realizing the American Dream?

Our nation’s history is full of examples of how one person made a difference. President Kennedy’s words, “If not you, who? If not now, when?” remain as true today as the day he delivered them. Whether in your family, faith community, or the civic arena, your involvement is critical to our national experiment as we approach America’s 250th birthday.

So, take charge of it now. Own it. There’s no guarantee someone else will. After all, it’s your school, your state, and your country—and your involvement is the only way to secure what you stand for.
