Study Group with Rohit Chopra: Future of Money and Financial Markets

Join former Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra for a discussion with Gary Gensler, where they will discuss some of the latest issues facing money, banking, financial markets, and technology. Gensler served as the 33rd Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 2021 to 2025. He also played a major role in enacting reforms after 2008 financial crisis in this role as Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission from 2009 to 2014. He is currently a Professor of the Practice of Global Economics and Management as well as of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also hosts the podcast, Power and Consequences, with Simon Johnson.
