Donald Trump is the first president in American history never to have served in public office or the military before moving into the White House. But he has spent a lifetime in the public eye through his time in business and entertainment and he has brought many of the same views, attitudes, and approaches to the task of running the country. We explore the through-lines of his career that are playing out now on the national stage and at the same time look at what he lessons he learned from his first term that have shaped the beginning of his second.
