Transition Term is a fellowship program offered by the HKS Taubman Center for State and Local Government. Since 2018, 59 HKS graduate students have been embedded in 21 transition offices of newly elected governors, county executives, and mayors throughout the United States during January Term. Students learn how new administrations move from campaigning to governing and provide valuable support to state and local government leaders.
Come join Taubman Center Executive Director, Rafael Carbonell, and Transition Term student Research Assistant, Will Whitehurst (MPP 2022), to learn more and ask questions about the program and application process (due Oct 4, 9am EST) to be considered for this year's Transition Term program!
