Join the Harvard Center for International Development (CID) on March 5-6, 2026 for our Urban Mobility and Climate Change Conference, where global changemakers will gather on campus to share insights and incubate solutions. Co-hosted by the Harvard Salata Institute’s Urban Mobility and Climate Change Research Cluster and the Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard University, the convening combines the strengths of researchers and public policy leadership to drive impactful solutions for lower-emission, healthier, and more resilient cities that thrive.
Together, we will focus on three themes for research and policy engagement:
- Improve and Decarbonize Urban Transport
- Measure and Reduce Co-Pollutants
- Understand and Adapt to Climate Shocks
We are putting together an exciting lineup of speakers including interdisciplinary researchers across fields like urban planning, public policy, economics, computer science, and atmospheric chemistry, as well as global policymakers on the forefront of issues at the intersection of urban mobility and climate change. Be sure to check our website as the lineup of speakers and panelists is confirmed.
