If the world is to balance its carbon emissions and achieve net zero, the role of carbon sequestration and capture has been acknowledged as a necessary process by UNCCC and IEA. Yet how can carbon capture be effectively scaled up to deliver and at the same time made financially viable for the future? Former UK Energy Minister and Senior Fellow Chris Skidmore explores this challenge with CEO of the Emissions Capture Company, Kempton White.
