HKS Faculty Webinar Series

This webcast aired on July 23, 2025.

In this webinar, Professor Stavins will begin by asking whether an economic perspective on environmental problems, including climate change, can really be of value, before turning to the ways in which the science of climate change leads us to examine fundamental economic realities and then to consider geopolitics of climate change. He will discuss why considerable attention is given to carbon pricing in a diverse set of countries in the world, and will examine the consequences of climate change policies. He will wrap up by reflecting on the international dimensions of climate policy deliberations, including the Paris Agreement.

This is a free webinar and does not qualify for a certificate.
