To borrow materials from the HKS Library, anyone who does not hold a current Harvard ID (including alumni) must apply for a Harvard Library Borrowing Card. Presenting this card along with your photo ID to the security station at HKS’s Wexner entrance will allow access to HKS campus buildings.
To ensure your visit to the HKS Library is productive, please contact us in advance so we can confirm that the resources you’re interested in are available. For example, not all of our collection materials are held onsite and may take several days to arrive.
Other libraries at Harvard have their own policies for accessing their collections.
LRS complies with all federal and state laws and regulations governing information, as well as all HKS and Harvard University policies. We retain the right to use our discretion regarding patron access.
