Using the HKS Library

Access Services

When visiting the Harvard Kennedy School’s Library, patrons will encounter the Service Desk and Access Services staff as soon as they enter the front doors. Access Services helps connect patrons with the many and varied library collections and resources available to them—not just at the Harvard Kennedy School but from the Harvard Library system and beyond. Access Services can help patrons borrow library materials, including course reserve items; assist with library technology; and connect patrons with Research Librarians for specialize research assistance.

Access for Persons with Disabilities

The library is committed to providing access to its collections and services to persons with disabilities and will make every reasonable effort to assist users with special needs. The library is wheelchair accessible. Please email Julie Petzold to inquire about arrangements.
