Peter Zimmerman

Peter Brown Zimmerman is Lecturer in Public Policy. He was formerly Senior Associate Dean for Strategic Program Development and held several prior decanal appointments including 25 years developing and directing the School's executive education programs.  He served as faculty chair of the Senior Executive Fellows Program and was one of the founding faculty co-chairs of Harvard's Advanced Leadership Initiative. He is a graduate of the Kennedy School’s Public Policy program. Before coming to Harvard, he worked for the US Navy, on the National Security Council staff and on the staff of the Senate Intelligence Committee. He has consulted with and advised a wide range of public and non profit organizations.
