Campaign managers and strategists from President Obama and Mitt Romney's presidential campaigns convened for a post-election discussion Thursday (Nov. 29th) at Harvard Kennedy School. The Campaign Decision Makers Conference, sponsored by the Institute of Politics, provides a unique view of the race for the White House from the inside out.

“Hosting presidential campaign strategists for frank discussions at the Institute of Politics has been the preeminent postscript to presidential campaigns since 1972,” said Harvard Institute of Politics Director Trey Grayson. “Our conference allows top campaign staff from all sides an opportunity to share the successes and the challenges faced during the presidential race. These discussions help improve future campaigns – and that’s important.”

The conference featured several members of the Obama and Romney 2012 campaigns, ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Jonathan Karl, Washington Post Chief Political Correspondent Dan Balz and numerous others. You can listen to audio files of the conference discussions on the IOP’s 2012 Campaign Decision Makers Conference webpage.
