Christy Jackowitz

Christy Jackowitz headshot.Christy Jackowitz has more than 30 years of professional fundraising and nonprofit management experience. Starting at the University of Connecticut, she has worked with student leaders, volunteer solicitors, and board members, as well as development professionals, event planners, and public relations experts. Jackowitz has been involved in annual and capital campaigns at universities, medical centers, foundations, community and international organizations including the American Red Cross. She has devised training programs for faculty, volunteers, and board members to increase their understanding of fundraising principles, leadership needs, and philanthropy. She is currently the senior associate dean for development at Harvard Kennedy School where she has been working on fundraising campaigns, alumni relations and communications for the past 14 years. Jackowitz graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Finance and attended the Fundraising School at the University of Indiana. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women in Development, and Planned Giving Council of New England.
