Karen Frank is joining Laurence Belfer as co-chair of Harvard Kennedy School’s Dean’s Council effective today. Belfer joined the Council in 2015 and was named chair in 2018. Frank, a member of the Council since 2016, was named vice chair of the Council in 2019.
“I am very grateful for both Laurence’s and Karen’s work to engage members of the Council and to enhance communications with this important group of supporters and advisors,” says Doug Elmendorf, dean of Harvard Kennedy School. “They are each strong leaders whose efforts complement each other, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the coming years.”
Belfer serves as CEO of Belfer Management, a family investment firm. This October, Frank will become the global head of equity division at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Formerly, she served as CEO of Barclay’s Private Bank.
