Nearly four decades after he sat in the audience as a graduating student, former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon MC/MPA 1984 looked out at hundreds of Harvard Kennedy School graduates and exhorted them to fix what his generation had failed to fix. 


Preparing to rebuild even as war with Russia rages

Konstantin Usov MC/MPA 2023 struggled with the decision to attend the Kennedy School, but others urged him not to pass up the opportunity to acquire knowledge to bring back and share when Kyiv and Ukraine begin rebuilding.



Class Day is a time-honored HKS tradition where graduating students and their guests as well as faculty members and staff come together to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2023.
