Diversity is a core value at Harvard Kennedy School.

As the most international school at Harvard University, HKS is committed to nurturing an inclusive, equitable and culturally rich community that appreciates and respects all differences. Each year, we work to recruit and enroll talented students with different backgrounds, experiences and opinions who are steadfast in serving our communities as public servants and leaders.

The Office for Student Diversity and Inclusion (OSDI) advises and advocates for students to support their development, well-being and success during their time at HKS. We champion activities that aim to increase and celebrate diversity related, but not limited to, race, gender, religion, ethnic background, age, sexual orientation, disability, political ideology or economic status.

In our interconnected world, we need leaders who serve with acceptance, inclusion, compassion, openness and respect. These values are at the very heart of what we do at HKS.
