Benchmarking Safety and Justice in Developing Countries

How do we nurture and measure progress in justice and safety across cultural contexts? Join us for a lunch time talk with Professor Todd Foglesong and Researchers from the Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management (PCJ) that are examining this question in the contexts of Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Bangladesh and Jamaica. The discussion will focus on PCJ’s work with government agencies in Nigeria and Sierra Leone to design and implement appropriate indicators of justice that suit developing countries, advance local aspirations for justice and safety, and capitalize on a multiplicity of methods for measuring change in justice systems. Lunch will be served. Sponsored by Criminal Justice PIC, KSSG, and the
Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management
