SESSION VII (11/05/13) -- Opportunities to Influence from the Inside: How Campaign/Staff Positions Can Be Gateways to Political Prominence In our system of government we have one President, 535 members of Congress, 50 Governors (more or less), countless state legislators, mayors and other municipal leaders. This means that there are tens of thousands staff members making hundreds of thousands of decisions that influence our political lives. If you are looking for diversity in political live, this is where you are apt to find it. In this session we will hear from diverse candidates and millennials who have traveled this pathway to political prominence. Guest: Danielle Gray, Assistant to President and Cabinet Secretary
