Top Economists to Discuss American Prosperity at Kennedy School Forum

Cambridge, MA – How prosperity in America fits into the broader global economic picture will be the topic of discussion March 1 at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. “The Challenges to American Prosperity” will begin at 6 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, 79 JFK Street, Cambridge.
The discussion will feature:
• N. GREGORY MANKIW, professor of economics, Harvard University; chairman, President Bush's Council of Economic Advisers (2003 - 05)
• GENE SPERLING, senior fellow for economic policy and director of the Center on Universal Education, Council on Foreign Relations; national economic advisor to President Clinton and director, National Economic Council (1996 - 2000)
• LAWRENCE H. SUMMERS (moderator), president, Harvard University; U.S. Secretary of the Treasury (1999 – 2001)
