We are your partner for financial assistance.
We understand that there are many factors to consider when deciding whether to pursue a master’s degree, one of which will be how to finance your education. At Harvard Kennedy School, we consider financing your education to be a partnership and are here to help guide you through the process.
We are committed to distributing as much financial assistance as possible to our talented students; however, our institutional resources are limited. An average of 49% of enrolled students received Harvard or HKS aid during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years.
We encourage you to explore all opportunities for funding.
While we know you will weigh the costs associated with attending HKS, we also encourage you to consider the professional opportunities afforded by a master's degree from the Kennedy School.
“The Mid-Career MPA Program is a hub for developing substantive relationships with future leaders, alumni, and the Harvard community as a whole. I was honored to be a Mallinckrodt Fellow. The support not only allowed me to advance my own education, but also to push for conversations about the Roma within the broader HKS community.”
