Deconstructing Disinformation's Threat to Democracy

Different media manipulators use different tactics. For example, some of the things we're looking at in our lab have to do with elections, so there'sa different suite of tactics, tools, and methods for hoaxing an election. We're also dealing with impeachment—an issue which has both foreign and domestic implications. There's even been some talk about potential disinformation around the Census. So, when it comes to different events, we do see different tactics and, therefore, different strategies.
