Editors’ Introduction: Empirical Evidence on the Relevance of Place in Criminology

An introduction is presented for this issue of the "Journal of Quantitative Criminology" which includes articles about crime trends in micro places, gun violence in the late 20th century, and the relationship between violent crime and disorder in neighborhoods.
