Abstract
A growing number of organizations are experimenting with ways to embed learning in everyday encounters—for example, US barbers teach their customers how to avoid hypertension and Chinese road construction foremen teach their crews about the risks of HIV/AIDS. This new approach to learning has the potential to reach millions of youth and adults across the globe who don’t otherwise have access to education.
