Abstract

The article offers the authors insights on the budget structure of the U.S. government concerning information technologies (IT)-enabled innovations. It mentions that government funding is poorly organized when it comes to assigning resources for high value IT proposals. The author suggests that budget for innovation should not only come from government but as well as from public and private sectors which would lessen the load of the government and allow benefiting resources for other purposes.
