The Library's Behind the Book video series (formerly known as the Virtual Book Tour) engages Harvard Kennedy School faculty on their recent publications and the stories behind their research.

Based on thousands of hours of interviews with parents and children, HKS faculty Ron Ferguson and journalist Tatsha Robertson present a model of parenting that that found has consistently led to the long-term success of their children.

Political Buttons Collection

In 2012, local philanthropist Steven M. Rothstein generously donated his personal collection of 2,000 political buttons to Harvard Kennedy School Library & Knowledge Services. This rich collection represents state, local, and national U.S. political campaigns from Calvin Coolidge to Barack Obama.

The collection also contains buttons pertaining to significant ballot initiatives, and social issues and movements. In 2018, we began expanding Mr. Rothstein’s collection during each election cycle.
