Lakshmi Narayan has over 30 years of experience in Indian Artisanal Handicrafts and Design. She has designed and exhibited Indian artisanal handicrafts in a variety of venues including museums and major festivals. Lakshmi has spent many years working closely with Indian tribal women in India. Her many years of living and working with them has enabled her to study and analyze the violence they experience and their ability to leverage their artisanal handicraft as a solution to overcome the violence they experience.
