The Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP) supports political internships for alumnae of its training program From Harvard Square to the Oval Office (“Oval Office”). Students who complete the year-long training program are eligible to apply for internship funding. Internships provides Oval Office alumnae the opportunity to put their training to work in a real-world political setting. It is just one of the tools to prepare students to run, and win. Past interns have worked with U.S. leaders at the local, state, and national levels across the political spectrum, as well as international figures in elective office.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis starting in February 2013 until the deadline on March 27, 2013. Oval Office participants and alumnae currently enrolled in a Harvard graduate program are eligible to apply. Grants of $5,000 each for full time summer positions are available. Applicants will be notified of their status no later than Friday April 12, 2013.
