Harvard Kennedy School students should login to KNet for cross-registration policies and procedures.
Students may cross-register at most Harvard graduate schools, as well as at MIT and Tufts Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Please note that there are limitations as to the number of cross-registered courses that may be counted toward a HKS degree and the type of courses eligible for credit.
The Harvard University cross-registration website provides information on cross-registering at the other Harvard schools and includes the university-wide course catalog.
Harvard University students, as well as MIT and Tufts Fletcher students are welcome to cross-register into HKS classes.
Please note that the Harvard Kennedy School does not accept paper cross-registration petitions. HKS uses an online cross-registration system.
To enroll in HKS courses, please visit the HKS Cross-Registration website. The HKS academic calendar provides cross-registration dates. Cross-registered classes should be dropped with your home school, and your home school will notify HKS of your drop.
Dates for Spring 2013 Session:
Note: HKS does not offer Audit as a grading option. If you request registration and it is approved online by the instructor, you will be enrolled in the course for credit and receive a letter grade.
