Disability Accommodation and Access Services
Accommodation
Students requiring accommodation for disabilities should contact the Student Disability Coordinator. Students must have appropriate documentation from their physician.
Academic accommodations and services are planned for students with documented disabilities on a case-by-case basis. The following are examples of the accommodations that may be coordinated when appropriate:
- Note-taker
- Voice recognition software
- Course materials formatted for visually impaired students
- Viewing and reading system technologies for visually impaired students
- Exam accommodations as recommended by physician
- Sign-language services
- Accessible transportation via the accessible shuttle (note: faculty and staff requiring the accessible shuttle should contact their HR representative)

Access
Students with disabilities who need to access HKS during inclement weather or an emergency, should contact the University Operations Center at 617.495.5560.
