Protection of Civilians in UN peacekeeping : Field perspective from DR Congo

Namie Di Razza will discuss her experience as a Civil Affairs Officer working for the UN operation in Eastern Congo, where she was in charge of protection. She is a researcher from the Institute of Political Science of Paris and holds a Master's in Political Science and a Master's in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. Her particular interest is focused on UN peacekeeping and IHL - she worked for the last two years for the UN peacekeeping operation in Eastern Congo.
