To the HKS Community,
Next Tuesday is Election Day in the United States, and I urge everyone who is eligible to vote to do so. Voting is the bedrock of democracy.
A reminder of HKS’s policies on voting and poll work is below.

On Election Day: If you are a student, working at the polls or on a campaign qualifies as an excused absence. If you are an employee, working at the polls or on a campaign qualifies as an excused absence (you do not need to use personal or vacation time), and voting during work hours qualifies as an excused absence if voting before or after work is not practical; for union members, such excused absences are recorded in PeopleSoft as release time. Please discuss your plans with your manager in advance, and check with your Human Resources contact if you have questions.
