The Metropolitan Revolution: A Conversation with Bruce Katz

Join us for a conversation with Bruce Katz, co-author of the new book The Metropolitan Revolution: How Cities and Metros are Fixing Our Broken Politics and Fragile Economy. Bruce is a vice president at the Brookings Institution and founding director of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program. His new book (co-authored with Jennifer Bradley) is a distillation of his work on the emerging metropolitan-led "next economy" and its practitioners around the country working to produce more and better jobs driven by innovation, exports and sustainability. Also joining the conversation will be Jerold Kayden (Frank Backus Williams Professor of Urban Planning and Design, Harvard Graduate School of Design) and Gerald Frug (Louis D. Brandeis Professor of Law, Harvard Law School).
